West Palm Beach Travel Guide
I traveled to the beautiful and scenic West Palm Beach several times over the past year. To say I fell in love, that I’m obsessed, and half of my heart is still there, is just the least of how I feel about West Palm Beach. Since visiting multiple times, I came up with a West Palm Beach travel guide to help you plan your next visit!
Things to do:
–The Improv: We found tickets last minute and went to the Improv for a comedy show and dinner. We had a blast! Highly recommend a visit, even if you don’t know who the comedian is. Enjoy drinks, dinner, and laughter. Side note: there is a two drink minimum.
–Visit The Colony: The Colony grounds are open to view. Head over to their pool bar, or stop at one of their restaurants!
–Visit The Breakers: The Breakers has a beautiful and scenic grounds to explore. The public is welcome in, but valet is $30. However, you can shop and spend $30, the valet is free. We spent a couple hours exploring and shopping!
–Shopped on Worth Avenue: A great stroll through luxury shops like Chanel, Valentino, and Tiffany & Co. It’s a beautiful area where you can dream big!
–Beach day on Jupiter Island: Jupiter Island is full of beaches that you can visit! We spent the majority of the day exploring the island and beach hopping! If you are looking for more things to do in Jupiter, I have a little travel guide HERE for you to check out!
–Shopped in CityPlace: Highly recommend going in the afternoon for shopping, dinning, and entertainment. The area is so pretty, they had great options for restaurants, and entertainment. This is where the Improv is at.
–Lion Country Safari: My heart. Oh my goodness. I didn’t think it was real until we got there. This is a “cage-less” zoo where you can ride around (in your car) in a Safari like setting with wild animals roaming around you.
–Walk South Flagler Dr.: This is such a pretty walk down by the water. You can walk out on the docks and catch a really beautiful view of the city.
–Grandview Public Market: Definitely a fun place to stop and visit. They have a variety of dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The wall art and design is something to admire as well. You will definitely want to grab a few snaps around the market!
Where to eat that we loved:
–Hogsnappers: Hands down, the best sushi. I’ve eaten here like 3-4 times.
–Polo at The Colony: We stopped for lunch while we were visiting The Colony grounds. They had light bites like sandwiches and salads. A perfect place to slow down and enjoy your time in a super cute setting.
–Lighthouse Diner: So, so good. Breakfast all day, yes please! It’s a great local place to visit.
–Okeechobee Steakhouse: Hands down, the best steak I’ve ever had in my life.
–Havana Restaurant: While they do have an indoor dinning room, I only visited the 24/7 to-go window. They have the BEST coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Stop by and grab some cuban coffee, you will not regret it.
–123 Datura Bar & Kitchen: This was a spot down off of the South Flagler St. We stopped in for pizza and a drink. It was delicious! They have a really great Happy Hour menu to check out as well- MONDAY – FRIDAY // 5-7PM & SATURDAY // 3-7PM.
–E.R. Bradley’s Saloon: This is a really cool spot down on the water off of the South Flagler St. We stopped here one night for nachos and a drink. If you like coconut be sure to try out the drink “Lime in da coconut”-it doesn’t come in a coconut, but it was refreshing and delicious!
–Sloan’s Ice Cream: You’ll want to stop here to cool off with a sweet treat, but the colorful atmosphere is something you don’t want to miss! There are two locations, but the one I visited was on S Clematis S!
