It has been one of those weeks. You know, the one where nothing goes right, you end up sick, and for some reason you just can’t stop being tired. I contribute this week to such a packed weekend! I typically try to relax as much as I can on the weekend even though I end up working for several hours. This past weekend I had two events and then I watched my siblings for the day-this meant no naps, and cramming all of my work into one day. Hopefully this doesn’t sound like I’m complaining, I had a very fulfilling and fun weekend.
I mentioned that I attended the Monica Vinader Trunk Show here in this post, but the night prior I showed up for the Tampa Bay Fashion Week Friday runway show. Last year I worked as a part of the producing team, and this year I was able to enjoy it by watching as a spectator. If you follow me on snapchat (rechaelroe) you were able to get a little glimpse into the inspiring night of fashion! I wore the look in today’s post for the runway event. This look features several trends: velvet, mom jeans, round structured tote, and the ankle strap pump. Overall, this look is definitely a favorite of mine. I love taking a break from the skinny jeans for a more relaxed feel and I’m totally loving velvet. This pair of velvet heels are on my wish list!
