Happy New Year! I kicked my 2018 year off with friends, starting the day by waking up to the sound of rain hitting our tent. It was so peaceful and really just added to my prayer that 2018 would be filled with peace, blessings, joy and lots of love.
I don’t talk about resolutions normally, but I figured I’d share a couple of personal ones that I’ve really been thinking about and wanting to begin implementing this year! Here are my top two:
- Stronger body: I don’t diet, and I don’t ever talk about dieting. It’s not for me, and it’s not my “resolution”. This year I want to build a healthier, stronger body-mind and soul included. Making better eating choices, working out more consistently, reading books, learning and trying new things.
- Strive for inner peace: I put the word “strive” because I know it won’t be easy, and I know not every situation or time in life will be peaceful. I battle with anxiety, and although I know how to tame it, I want to strive to have to have inner peace this year. Find ways to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety and overall become a less highly intense person.
Not really a “resolution”, but I’m planning to bring a lot of great content for you in 2018. I want to keep things more personal, add more video content, and really connect with those that read and follow along. Thank you for all of the love and support and I wish you all a blessed and happy 2018!
