What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico…unless you are me and you want to share all the details of your trip. So, here we go!
Cruise Details: We cruised on the Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas. It was a 4 night cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and we left from Tampa, Florida. We spent two full days on board and one full day in Cozumel, Mexico. We had a beautiful balcony stateroom and for every cruise from now on, it will have to have a balcony. I felt like I slept better, and it was so nice to wake up to the views of the water and sun.
Every morning, after waking up, we got ready and enjoyed breakfast. Honestly, I have no complaints about the buffet breakfast, you just can’t go wrong with endless eggs, waffles, bacon, and pastries! We enjoyed time by the pool, various onboard shows, and activities. We had a late dinner time so we soaked up every minute of relaxation before getting ready for our dinners. Our dinners were three courses, but you could get any amount of food…so dangerous. One night I enjoyed 4 appetizers…no shame! After dinner it would always be a variation of night activities like the casino, club, or just hanging out. Unfortunately, after my first night on the cruise I experienced a major defeat when I had a horrible night of tooth pain. The next day I realized my mouth/jaw was numb and had a swollen knot. I went to medical on the boat and they told me I had an infection. The fear and worry welled up when they said if it didn’t go down by Mexico, I would have to seek medical attention. I was prescribed antibiotics immediately. Through prayer, rest, and my prescribed medication I felt better by the time we docked in Cozumel.

Cozumel was a fun adventure. Jacob booked us on a catamaran ride, snorkle, swim and beach adventure for the day! Our boat took us to the reefs for exploration (which I had to skip out on), swimming in crystal blue waters and back to Playa Mia.
Our cruise back to Tampa was rocky and windy so it was a day of resting back up. We made the most of our time by enjoying the hot tub, watching football games, and taking naps! Overall, we had a wonderful time on our cruise to Cozumel, Mexico!

Cruise Outfits:
For the most part, I tried to document my outfits. It included lots of swimwear and sundresses. I did bring denim shorts and jeans with various tops which came in handy when the wind picked up on our last day of the cruise.
Cozumel, Mexico:

I wore a beautiful tropical print swimsuit from Isabella Rose for our catamaran excursion in Cozumel, Mexico-shop it here! Paired it with an orange Sugar Lips polka dot dress and my vintage scarf which I put in my ponytail. Use code Rechael15 for a discount on your Sugar Lips purchase. They have the sweetest items for the upcoming spring and summer season!
On the cruise ship:

Captains dinner/formal night is my favorite part of the cruise-I love to get dressed up! I wore this beautiful fringe sequin dress from Red Dress Boutique with pink bow heels. I was asked by all the girls on our cruise about where I got it. Many were looking for a dress for their wedding, party, or big event! This is definitely a stunning option, it also comes in black! Shop this dress here!

You can tell from the picture above the water was choppy and it was a bit windy. We were actually experiencing about 20ft waves and 60mph winds. This was a rough and rocky day, but spent a good part of the time in the hot tub warming up and taking naps. This Becca bikini is seriously THE CUTEST-shop top (another option), shop bottoms! It also comes in a one piece which you can shop here!

Room service please! If there is one thing to love about cruising, it’s the endless food you can get. Food is literally available 24/7. Breakfast is my favorite meal though. I got up at 8 each morning to start my day. I loved being able to roll out of bed, throw on something simple, head to breakfast and then come back to finish getting ready. Often times, I wore simple dresses that were cute, and easy to throw on and go. I loved wearing this Red Dress Boutique tropical print dress. It’s under $50 and comes in a variety of prints! Shop this dress here. I ended up wearing this dress multiple times on the cruise. I paired it with simple sandals or flip flops depending on where I was going on the cruise. It was great to throw on for breakfast, enjoying the shows onboard, or using it as a swimsuit coverup!

I packed a lot of cute swimsuits for this cruise to Mexico and this one from Becca is seriously the cutest! I loved the stripe detailing, and ended up bringing sandals that matched exactly! I paired it with denim shorts to walk to the pool and added a scarf in my hair for an extra detail that I ended up just LOVING! Shop this one piece here, and it also comes in a two piece which you can shop the bottoms here, and the top here.
That rounds up the details of my cruise to Mexico! It’s definitely a trip I won’t forget! I linked all of the items I wore down below in one big carousel!
This cruise looked like so much fun! I also love that sparkly pink sequined dress from Red Dress. I am also thinking about buying it, but I don’t know where I would wear it yet! Maybe on a future cruise myself š
