Caden’s Construction Theme First Birthday
It’s bittersweet and hard to believe that my sweet newborn baby is a year old. Some days felt long, challenging, and exhausting. Most days made me smile, laugh, and melt, but all of the days in the past year were filled with love that I never knew I had in me or that I could feel so profoundly. I’ve so enjoyed watching Caden learn, grow and explore over his first year of life, but it’s bittersweet that time flies, and he’s no longer my baby but growing into a little boy. Caden is filled with so much joy, he has a funny personality, he’s so loving to his mama, and he loves hanging with dada.
Welcome to Caden’s Jobsite–Construction Theme First Birthday. It took little thought into what the theme of his first birthday would be. It had to be tractors, specifically CAT tractors. I wanted to make it aesthetic, you know, something different, something Pinterest worthy, but something a little boy like Caden would love. When I started to reach out to a few local vendors and ask me what the theme was, I replied, “aesthetic construction site.” I had nothing to go by, I didn’t find much on Pinterest, but I had a vision. I’m thankful that, for the most part, my idea came to life. I wanted to shout out the two vendors – local, Tampa babes who are so talented in their art. The balloon arch was done by @sopoppinballoons – she saw my vision for the colors and brought it to life. The beautiful and tasty cookies were by @sweetcarolineshomebakery. We catered in @yborgrille, a local Cuban place we love. Photography, decor, and everything else was by yours truly- I needed a pat on the back too. Most of the decor items were Amazon finds, and I’ve got them linked up here for you!
