It’s been a minute since I’ve share a beauty post! I’ve been updating and using a lot of great products recently. Today I wanted to share some beauty products I’ve been loving. I’ll update this page as much as possible so it can always be a resource to you!
2018 Beauty Products I’ve Been Loving:
The first product I want to talk about is the Clinique hydrating jelly that I mentioned here. The reason why I love it is because it’s a lightweight formula, that hydrates and isn’t sticky. I also really love that it creates a barrier to block out the pollution our skin faces everyday. It’s buildable, so if you feel like you need to add an SPF layer, or your primer, it all goes on very smoothly.
If you are looking for a delectable body wash or lotion, I’m currently obsessed with everything Soap & Glory, mainly in the smell “Call of Fruity” -it’s like a tropical paradise and I can never get enough!
I’ve used a facial toner for a long as I can remember. A toner has really helped keep my skin balanced. I recently started using this mineral mist from Hannes Dottir, and it’s been amazing for calming my recent skin problems. I’ve talked about my recent skin concerns here on Instagram, thanks to stress and hormones, but I’ve noticed a difference since using this toner. Plus, I really love that it has a multivitamin in it!
I’ve always been really particular about my hair care routine. Since I have blonde hair, I need a little extra protection and hydration. I’ve been using the Moroccan Oil hydration line and it’s been something I’ve really loved, plus it’s color-safe! It gives your hair the hydration it needs without going overboard and making it heavy.
While on the topic of hair, I just started using a new dry shampoo, I just talked about it recently in this post on instagram. I hate switching up my dry shampoo because I’ve used some that I hated. So, when I find one I like, I just kind of stick with it for a very long time. Well, I was getting to the point where I wanted to try something new and I came across this Dove volume and fullness dry shampoo and boy was it a game changer! I really love that it doesn’t give my hair a gross feeling, and it gives it back that bounce that my hair loses in between washes!
Last but certainly not least, I wanted to talk about my new favorite lip obsession. I’ve talked about it before on my IG stories, and I’ve been wearing in most of my recent posts-it’s the PillowPout lip powder. Let me explain a couple of things-it’s supposed to give you a more natural look, like a “blotted” lipstick look. It’s not bold. However, I really like the more natural look, it give my lips an effortless look. I really like the application-it goes on smooth and isn’t sticky. I have noticed that it wears well on my lips. If I need a touch up I just apply a lip balm to even everything out while on the go. I would also recommend putting a balm on before applying if you tend to have dryer skin.
2019 Beauty Products I’ve Been Loving Updates:
Back to another Clinique favorite (talked about HERE), I’ve been using the new Clinique iD formula. It’s a custom moisturizer and mine specifically targets uneven skin tone. The Clinique iD is available in 15 combinations to hydrate your unique skin type and treat your main skin concern. Allergy tested, 100% fragrance- free. No parabens. No phthalates. Just happy skin. I’v noticed a major difference in my skin tone since using this! Definitely more hydrated and even.
I’m literally obsessed with everything Summer Fridays. I currently have been using the Overtime Mask and you can read my review of it HERE. It’s the best exfoliation and glow I’ve ever had. I use it about once a week, unless I feel like my skin needs another pick me up.
Another great mask that I love is the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask. I use this one about once a week. It’s great for unclogging and tightening pores. I’m already about to get my second jar because I swear by it. I do have a coupon code for you. Use RECHAELROE for 10% off.
My latest facial spray obsession is from Grace & Stella. I’ve been using the Hydrating Rose Spray. I love anything with rose, and it really does hydrate the skin. I use in on my natural skin and sometimes over top of my makeup. I even spray my makeup sponge with it and dab it into the skin along with my foundation. I also put them on my Christmas Gift Guide for 2018! Highly recommend-high quality and budget friendly, yes please!
Let’s talk cosmetics for a moment. I’m fully obsessed with the MAC Prep + Prime Fix +. It improves the wear of makeup, sets and refreshes the application. I sometimes even spray it on my skin without makeup. It gives you that natural glow without being oily or heavy. I’ve noticed my makeup lasts a lot longer without caking or smudging too.
