How To Transition Into Spring With One Simple Piece

While spring is not here, you may see a lot of transition to warmer weather clothes going on. We all crave the warmer weather after an intense winter. I’m thankful to have had a nice winter here in Florida, but I know it’s not the same in other locations. I still like to wear sweaters (even with our slightly warmer weather), because it is still cool at night and in the morning. One of the easiest ways I have found to transition into spring is to pair a light and bright scarf with cozy transitional sweaters! Just a touch of floral, or lighter colors can really add a perfect spring vibe! I’m going to link some spring scarfs below for you to shop, and they are all under $50!

Rainbow Stripe Sweater

I think I’ve been talking about this sweater long enough on my Instagram that I need to show you all how I styled it ASAP! I was going to wait a couple of days, but how can I? If I can’t get enough of the rainbow stripes, I know you won’t be able to resist either. I have started to see this become a “trend” as we head into the spring season! While my sweater is currently unavailable (lame), I have found so many other great and similar options! Shop below:

A Slow Transition Into Spring

Outfit Details: Express sweater (on sale), H&M pants (similar), Express flats(similar), Cult Gaia bag

As we approach February, I can’t help but get a little excited for Spring! We are still having our cold spells in Florida, so I’m still wearing my sweaters, and trying to stay warm. However, I know Spring is just around the corner, so I’m finding ways to start transitioning my wardrobe! The other day I did a BIG closet clean out. It’s fresh and ready for some spring arrivals. Until warmer weather is here, I’m finding ways to wear sweaters with a more spring-like vibe.

I’ve had these white culottes pants for about a year now, I got them last spring. I brought them out the other day, and paired it with this cable knit sweater, and a pop of red with my shoes. A look that’s fresh and light, but still appropriate for cooler weather.

Red Sweater Downtown

Outfit Details: H&M sweater, Rag & Bone jeans, Stripe Top (Target, but this is similar and cheaper), Forever 21 boots

I kind of covered this in my more recent weekend recap, but I’ve been working extremely hard on creating a more balanced life. Recently, I’ve been working a lot on the week and weekends, so I need/want time to have fun and relax! I love to explore, adventure out, try new things and see new places. Jacob had a brilliant idea to have a little picnic lunch down on Tampa’s Riverwalk. We sat in the sun because it was way to cold in the shade, and enjoyed Publix subs (best subs ever). We ended up adventuring around Tampa and having so much fun. I wore this cozy red sweater, and layered a striped top underneath. Honestly, I didn’t think I would love this $20 sweater, as much as I did. I loved the balloon sleeves and slightly oversized fit. Plus, it was so warm.

Pearl Sweater

Outfit Details: Shein sweater c/o, Chanel shoes, Similar skirt (only $13, mines old from Neiman Marcus), Clare V. bag, Similar tights

I’m sure you know by now that I have an “obsession” with pearls. I love this detail on shoes, like my favorite mules, or even a cozy cardigan! I don’t see pearl detailing going anywhere in 2018 either.

This past weekend, I had the privilege of going downtown with my family. There was a chill in the air, and we had plans to be outside. I made sure I layered properly and stayed cozy. The pearl sweater with a ruffle sleeve was a perfect top for this look, it added to the lady-like vibe I was going for. Just a quick few details about the sweater, it’s under $22, comes in a variety of colors, but it’s a “one-size”. It fit me perfectly, and I loved it. I’m 5’6″ and typical wear a X-Small or Small. It’s made of a thicker material that I thought was pretty nice for $22.
