Saying Goodbye To Summer

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Doen basket bag, ASOS wedges (similar), Sugarfix X Baublebar earrings c/o (see the post here)

Here we are in the middle of September, I honestly can’t believe we are entering the fall season! Like most, fall is my favorite time of the year! While fall is approaching, I wanted to give a final farewell to summer. This is a great dress to take you into fall-I love the idea of pairing it with booties and a felt fat!

This past weekend Jacob and I tried our a new little spot in Tampa called The Hall on Franklin! I love the concept of being able to order from various little shops within one building. If you are near the area, I recommend stopping by! I ordered the ‘Pork Ramen’ from ‘North Star’ which had an amazing flavor, while Jacob order a poke bowl from ‘Poke Rose’. We cheered to summer with a ‘Cosmo’ cocktail and reminisced some good times from this season.

Florida Botanical Gardens

Outfit Details: Shein Dress c/o, Vince Camuto sandals, Cult Gaia bag

I was thrilled to have been able to visit the Florida Botanical Gardens recently. I had seen a segment on it and just couldn’t wait to visit, especially with it being close to home! It was a super hot and muggy day when we went, so I wore a light dress (only $14) and sandals-I wish I had a ponytail to put my hair up. We walked through the gardens, down to the historical center and even started on the nature trail. It was a beautiful place to visit and even a great wedding venue! We saw the “first look” between a groom and bride, it was so magical!

Birthday Outfit | Yellow Bow Dress

Outfit Details: Asos dress, Similar wedges, Brixton hat

Another year around the sun, today I’m celebrating my birthday! I thought it would only be fitting to share what I’ll be wearing out tonight for a little dinner date Jacob has planned! Yellow, lace, and a big bow-a perfect dress for a celebration…and anything else! I almost paired this dress with sandals (which I still may in a later style), but ended up in these comfy wedges to dress it up a little. This hat was the last piece to this outfit, I wanted that total summer feel. Here’s a $37 yellow bow dress that is just as cute!

I’ve learned a lot this year-mistakes were made, lessons were learned, and new doors have opened. One of the biggest things I’ve taken away from this past year, was to not be afraid to own up and take responsibility for the mistakes I’ve made, because it only made me stronger and wiser to learn what I did and to not make that same mistake twice. I’m also excited for new opportunities that  are coming my way, not by any free chance, but because of hard work! So, with that, Happy Birthday to all my August babies, hope you have another great year!

Pink Ruffle One Shoulder Top

Outfit Details: Chicwish top c/o, Express denim (almost exact style), Poolside clutch c/o, Asos loafers (similar pair)

I just couldn’t resist this top, for an obvious reason, the big ruffles were just calling my name! Not too mention, it’s a super chic, one shoulder style, which I love. For a quick lunch outing I paired this top with crop denim and loafers. Oh, and you may have seen this bag a time or two-I’m kind of obsessed! This one shoulder ruffle top also comes in blue stripe and a pink stripe dress which is totally adorable!

Jacob and I watched the movie “Founder” over the weekend, which is basically about the McDonald’s franchise and how it all came to be. After watching it, we were both craving a McDonald’s burger! We don’t go often, and rarely do I ever crave fast food, but it just sounded so good after watching a movie about it. So, we drove over and grabbed a burger for lunch! Yum! Of course, we had another rainy day in our area, just when I want to shoot my looks, go figure!

Wrap Dress

Outfit Details: Lush dress, Sam Edelman mules, Cult Gaia bag

SALE ALERT! This wrap dress is under $30 and comes in several different colors/patterns-I want them all. This dress is so light, easy to style, and super flattering! You could totally style it with flats, sandals, or dress it up with heels or even wedges! Snag this dress up soon, because I already see sizes going fast! I highly recommend sizing up though, so that the wrap style doesn’t the cute outfit too short-I like to have my overlap and cover a good portion of the bottom layer.
