The Truth About Rompers

Outfit Details: Stylestalker romper from Create The Edit c/o, Steve Madden shoes

I wish I could say that rompers and jumpsuits were completely practical, but let’s be honest, the bathroom situation can be a bit unpleasant. Typically, we end up completely bare in the stall,or we opt to not even go to the bathroom because of the hassle of getting it off. It’s ok to talk about because I know most of us have all been there.

However, they are perfect for creating an all-in-one outfit without any thought involved. Plus, they can be really comfortable! If you aren’t a complete dress lover, a romper is a great alternative. They can be playful, and most importantly, affordable! They work well in the summer months as a beach/pool coverup, brunch outfit, or even a summer wedding! I can typically weigh out my options in favor of a romper or jumpsuit for these reasons alone. So, yes, end up a little uncomfortable in the bathroom stall, but at least we look cute otherwise right?

I got my adorable romper from Create The Edit, a service that offers you the chance to rent clothing items and then return it! They make it really simple to rent and return. No hassle involved. You can return the item in a bag and shipping label that’s provided to you. Find out how it all works here, and the romper that I’m wearing is here.

Mixed Print Dress

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Similar wedges, Hat Attack tote

This dress has received the most compliments I think I’ve ever had. I’ve worn it a couple of times now and each time people have flocked me to let me know how much they love it and to ask where they can get it-so I know you will love this mixed print dress too.

There’s a lot of trends mixed in with this dress-the ruffle back, cold shoulder style, and colorful appearance. It’s so tropical and perfect for a hot summer day! Oh, and it’s only $21! I’ve paired this dress with wedges and sandals! For a recent lunch date I paired this dress with espadrille wedges, and I also wore this dress awhile ago for an afternoon ice cream date where I paired this dress with a topknot and yellow earrings. I find myself pulling it out often as it’s so easy style!

Gingham + Lace

Outfit Details: Chicwish dress c/o, Sole Society espadrilles (similar), Indigo Lavender bag (larger version)

I was so honored to be nominated as best local blogger in Tampa, Fl this year! I was shown an overwhelming amount of love and support from you and my community! About two weeks ago, the award ceremony was held during Social Media Day Tampa and I wore this look out for the night!

This dress is perfect for a lot of occasions-date night, girls night out, shopping trips and dinner dates! It’s flirty and totally chic! The dainty floral lace just compliments the gingham and sets this dress apart from any other gingham dress. I casually paired it with my little round bag and my espadrille platforms!

Frill Sleeve Dress

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Sam Edelman mules, Cult Gaia bag

While I don’t center my “brand” around “good deals” or “budget friendly”, I really do love finding a great deal and sharing them with you! This dress is not only adorable, but it’s at an amazing price-$20! The little embroidered flowers on this stripe print add a perfect touch of trend, but it’s comfy and lightweight for summer! This is a dress I just enjoy being able to throw on for a brunch date, shopping adventure, or even running some errands. It’s cute with flats, sandals or even mules like I’m wearing! This dress is great quality, especially for the price! I’m wearing an XS for reference and it fit perfectly!

I went out for a day date with Jacob and I started out wearing this dress…until we got caught in the middle of a rainstorm while shooting this look! Florida has spontaneous rainstorms in the summer and this was one I just wasn’t prepared for! I’m already looking for another opportunity to pull out this dress…after it dries off!

Yellow Off The Shoulder Dress + Video

Outfit Details: Zara dress (sold out, similar), Converse shoes, Hat Attack bag

Today’s post is unique-it’s unique because I’ve provided a video of me in the dress. My husband started filming me walking because he thought it would be funny, then we had the brilliant idea to include a short film in the post so that you can see a real life look at it in motion! I hope that you enjoy this, I’ll try to include more little videos like this in future posts so that you can get an idea of how the outfit moves and flows in real life.

I guess I’ve been on a casual kick lately because I would have never thought to have paired this dress with converse until I shot this post! It was a last minute decision because I knew I would be doing a little walking-we ended up walking a little trail, shopping, grabbing lunch, and making a Home Depot run. I felt very comfortable and still trendy in this look-I think it’s a very achievable look. Of course, it was sprinkling, which turned into a downpour, so my hair was up in a bun. I could also totally see this yellow dress paired with wedges and soft curls for a wedding, date night, or summer outing! I can’t (actually I can) believe this dress sold out so quickly! I’ve linked other yellow dress options in the slide: this one is very similar, and so is this one!
