Saying Goodbye To Summer

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Doen basket bag, ASOS wedges (similar), Sugarfix X Baublebar earrings c/o (see the post here)

Here we are in the middle of September, I honestly can’t believe we are entering the fall season! Like most, fall is my favorite time of the year! While fall is approaching, I wanted to give a final farewell to summer. This is a great dress to take you into fall-I love the idea of pairing it with booties and a felt fat!

This past weekend Jacob and I tried our a new little spot in Tampa called The Hall on Franklin! I love the concept of being able to order from various little shops within one building. If you are near the area, I recommend stopping by! I ordered the ‘Pork Ramen’ from ‘North Star’ which had an amazing flavor, while Jacob order a poke bowl from ‘Poke Rose’. We cheered to summer with a ‘Cosmo’ cocktail and reminisced some good times from this season.

Pearl Embellished Top

Outfit Details: Shein top c/o, ASOS skirt (similar), ASOS loafers, Sole Society bag

I was watching ‘The Notebook’ with my friend over the weekend and she made mention about how she wished pearls would come back. The funny things is, pearl embellished items are making a major comeback statement. I don’t think pearls ever “went out”, but they are definitely portrayed as something vintage. The pearl has been updated by embellished shoes, top, and dresses!

Speaking of pearls, how cute is this top! Let me add that it’s only $16. It’s totally worth the buy! I styled it with a denim skirt and loafers! The flared sleeve add an extra “wow” factor to this top-definitely a statement peice!

Florida Botanical Gardens

Outfit Details: Shein Dress c/o, Vince Camuto sandals, Cult Gaia bag

I was thrilled to have been able to visit the Florida Botanical Gardens recently. I had seen a segment on it and just couldn’t wait to visit, especially with it being close to home! It was a super hot and muggy day when we went, so I wore a light dress (only $14) and sandals-I wish I had a ponytail to put my hair up. We walked through the gardens, down to the historical center and even started on the nature trail. It was a beautiful place to visit and even a great wedding venue! We saw the “first look” between a groom and bride, it was so magical!

Flowers And Stripes

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Mango slides (similar, and I love these), Charming Charlie bag (super cute option)

I didn’t think I was going to love this dress as much as I did when I wore it out the other day! I knew I would like the style (I’ve worn a similar style dress here), but I wasn’t confident enough in myself to pull off flowers and stripes. I was wrong, I absolutely adored this dress, and it was so fun to wear around town! I came to really love the mixture of flowers and stripes together. I kept everything else very simple as to not cause so much of a distraction. When it comes to styling mixed prints, it’s always best to choose neutral shoes and accessories, or the look can be “overdone”. This dress is so flattering, feminine and perfect for summer. It was 100 degrees out when we took this so hairstyles that are out of the way are my go to as of lately!

Mixed Print Dress

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Similar wedges, Hat Attack tote

This dress has received the most compliments I think I’ve ever had. I’ve worn it a couple of times now and each time people have flocked me to let me know how much they love it and to ask where they can get it-so I know you will love this mixed print dress too.

There’s a lot of trends mixed in with this dress-the ruffle back, cold shoulder style, and colorful appearance. It’s so tropical and perfect for a hot summer day! Oh, and it’s only $21! I’ve paired this dress with wedges and sandals! For a recent lunch date I paired this dress with espadrille wedges, and I also wore this dress awhile ago for an afternoon ice cream date where I paired this dress with a topknot and yellow earrings. I find myself pulling it out often as it’s so easy style!
