My Valentine’s Day Look

Outfit Details: Tobi dress c/o, Steve Madden heels

I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I’ve grown to enjoy the day, and take it for what it’s worth. Spending a little extra, quality time with my hubs isn’t so bad either, especially when he shows up with flowers. This year, Jacob and I scheduled our V-Day dinner a couple days prior to Valentine’s Day, due to our work schedules.

In year’s past, I’ve chosen soft pink, and bright red looks for the special occasion, but this year I opted for this wine color which I’ve been loving. This Tobi lace skater dress caught my eye with the lace detailing, and flirty silhouette. I wanted to show off the back of this dress with the deep V, so I decided to pull my hair up into a bun. I can’t wait to pull it back out for our Valentine’s Day dinner!

If you are looking for a Valentine’s Day dress, I highly suggest heading over to Tobi to find endless options for your special occasion!

Red Sweater Downtown

Outfit Details: H&M sweater, Rag & Bone jeans, Stripe Top (Target, but this is similar and cheaper), Forever 21 boots

I kind of covered this in my more recent weekend recap, but I’ve been working extremely hard on creating a more balanced life. Recently, I’ve been working a lot on the week and weekends, so I need/want time to have fun and relax! I love to explore, adventure out, try new things and see new places. Jacob had a brilliant idea to have a little picnic lunch down on Tampa’s Riverwalk. We sat in the sun because it was way to cold in the shade, and enjoyed Publix subs (best subs ever). We ended up adventuring around Tampa and having so much fun. I wore this cozy red sweater, and layered a striped top underneath. Honestly, I didn’t think I would love this $20 sweater, as much as I did. I loved the balloon sleeves and slightly oversized fit. Plus, it was so warm.

Cozy For The New Year

Outfit Details: The Mint Julep Boutique sweater c/o , The Mint Julep Boutique vest c/o   Rag & Bone denim, Chloe bag, Target shoes

After the Holiday season I typically spend a little time in Georgia resting and regaining my strength for the new year. This year is a little different, with new schedules and an intense work load, we weren’t able to make it up to the cabin. So, I’m taking some time at home (when I’m not working) to get a little r & r. My wardrobe is definitely getting a little r & r too. I dressed up so much during the Holiday season (which I love), that I want to take it down a notch and really showcase some comfortable, casual, yet cute outfits.  Today’s look is one I wore a couple of times with separate pieces. This sweater is so comfortable and you can see where I wore it here with a big red ribbon in my hair.

I’ve teamed up with The Mint Julep for a GIVEAWAY to celebrate 2017 and bringing in 2018! I’m excited to be giving a $25 gift card to one of you! Head over to my Instagram for details to come!

Red Tulle Dress

Outfit Details: Red Dress Boutique dress c/o, Red Dress Boutique heels c/o

Whether you say “Happy Christmas” or “Merry Christmas” I hope it was merry bright! We are learning to adjust to new traditions and ways of hosting our Holiday get togethers without our Grandpa, and with a change in our family dynamics. I felt very blessed this year to be surrounded by a loving group of family and friends. We kept the memories alive, and we were all filled with so much joy and love this Holiday season.

After a short time off, I’m back to bring you one last Holiday look! This stunning dress would be perfect for NYE or any special occasion-red is a stunning color to wear year round. If this dress is too “Holiday” for you but you are looking for a special occasion dress, I highly recommend this same style dress in the color teal, how gorgeous! The black, star detail heels that I paired along with this dress are on sale for $15!

Wine Dress For Christmas

Outfit Details: Red Dress Boutique dress c/o, similar heels, Baublebar earrings

Less than a week away from Christmas, I can just hardly believe it. I’ve fully submerged myself in all things Christmas this week. Nothing but Christmas music, movies, and parties! Speaking of parties, there are a lot of them this season! I enjoy dressing up, so I’m sharing this swoon worthy wine colored dress. It’s perfect for any celebration like, a wedding, event, or party! I accented this gorgeous dress with gold accessories. This is definitely a “head turning” dress. My husband made a comment about how many people were looking at me and I can’t really blame them, this dress is total perfection!
