H&M

Eyelet Cotton Dress

Outfit Details: H&M dress c/o, Steven sandals, J.Mclaughlin bag

I’m just going to confess right now that I really feel like I didn’t do this dress the justice it deserves. I love the flattering fit, the eyelet details, flirty open back, and ruffle detailing. It had been raining most of this past weekend, and while I thought it would clear up, we ended up having a tropical storm come through. So, in the midst of this crazy weather I wore this dress and kind of felt like a wet dog. I just REALLY wanted to share the dress with you in these few shots while this dress is still in stock! I plan on wearing it again and I’m praying that the next time a tropical storm doesn’t decide to make it’s way into town!

We dodged the downpours by visiting local shops and stopping for lunch at a cuban stop! While we felt like wet dogs and didn’t wear the proper clothing, we had fun! I love exploring and finding new places to visit in our area.

My Weekend Style

Outfit Details: H&M top, H&M pants (similar here), ASOS wedges, Brixton hat

This past weekend I went out for coffee with a new friend. My favorite place to go is the Oxford Exchange – with the option to have tea, coffee, brunch, shop for a new book, or a unique piece for the home, I find myself being able to spend hours there. With a Saturday to spend on my own terms I decided to do a little Nordstrom Sale shopping after my coffee date! My Saturday didn’t stop with shopping though, once I got home Jacob picked me up for a little Topgolf fun!

I wore this look pretty much the entire day on Saturday, and I realized that it’s a very versatile outfit! I’ve been on an H&M kick lately, I’m loving several items in there “new arrivals” section! I paired this casual button down top, with my new favorite pair of pants! The pants sold out so fast, but I did find a very similar pair here. I do want this $12 cotton top in every color though!

The Fourth of July is just around the corner-literally, Monday is coming up quickly! I enjoy finding patriotic looks that you could wear again, after the patriotic holiday,  on any given day. Today’s look can be patriotic by slipping on red flats and red lipstick, or balanced with tan sandals and bag.

Well I have great news for all of my readers! First, this will be the last time you see my pictures through these lens. I have geeked out and invested in a fabulous lens to enhance my photos! Lucky you! I’m taking pictures likes it’s my job. My little pup is my main model! Second, I have finally finished my first hair tutorial video! I have been and will be gearing you up all week! My Youtube page is up, and I will have the video posted for you on MONDAY! Yes, Monday! I know you have all been waiting! This is something I have been passionate about and have put a lot of time and thought into it! It will be the first of many to come! Anyway, I can’t get over this polka dot dress. It fits and feels perfect. I added this sweater over top and belted it to give it a casual edge. Wedges are a big trend this spring and summer season! I highly recommend getting some!
