West Palm Beach, FL Travel Guide + Video

I traveled to the beautiful and scenic West Palm Beach three times during a month timeframe. To say I fell in love, that I’m obsessed, and half of my heart is still there, is just the least of how I feel about West Palm Beach. Since visiting multiple times, I came up with a little travel guide to help you plan your next visit!

Things to do:

The Improv: We found tickets last minute and went to the Improv for a comedy show and dinner. We had a blast! Highly recommend a visit, even if you don’t know who the comedian is. Enjoy drinks, dinner, and laughter. Side note: there is a two drink minimum.

Visit The Colony: The Colony grounds are open to view. Head over to their pool bar, or stop at one of their restaurants!

Visit The Breakers: The Breakers has a beautiful and scenic grounds to explore. The public is welcome in, but valet is $30. However, you can shop and spend $30, the valet is free. We spent a couple hours exploring and shopping!

Shopped on Worth Avenue: A great stroll through luxury shops like Chanel, Valentino, and Tiffany & Co. It’s a beautiful area where you can dream big!

Beach day on Jupiter Island: Jupiter Island is full of beaches that you can visit! We spent the majority of the day exploring the island and beach hopping!

Shopped in CityPlace: Highly recommend going in the afternoon for shopping, dinning, and entertainment. The area is so pretty, they had great options for restaurants, and entertainment. This is where the Improv is at.

Lion Country Safari: My heart. Oh my goodness. I didn’t think it was real until we got there. This is a “cage-less” zoo where you can ride around (in your car) in a Safari like setting with wild animals roaming around you.

Where to eat that we loved:

Hogsnappers: Hands down, the best sushi. I’ve eaten here like 3-4 times.

Polo at The Colony: We stopped for lunch while we were visiting The Colony grounds. They had light bites like sandwiches and salads. A perfect place to slow down and enjoy your time in a super cute setting.

Lighthouse Diner: So, so good. Breakfast all day, yes please! It’s a great local place to visit.

Okeechobee Steakhouse: Hands down, the best steak I’ve ever had in my life.

For starters: much of Florida is preparing to get hit very hard today by Hurricane Matthew. By no surprise we have had a very active season in the tropics and I’m praying for everyone’s safety. This past weekend I went to brunch with my mom, sister and aunt. After our delicious meal full of waffles, pancakes and tons of fruit we went out on an adventure around Lake Mirror in Lakeland, Fl.

Tangerine, Leopard & Red Combo

I took a bit of a plunge with this look. I like the risk of adding in an unexpected print with unexpected colors. I paired this geometric, tangerine dress with a leopard belt, nude heels and accessorized with a red clutch and watch. Small gold accessories were paired in the mix as well.

Get to know me a little more! These questions were asked in response to Marcy from ” The Sweet Magnolia Chic“.

1. Biggest fear? My biggest fear is not being able to accomplish goals in my life. I work extremely hard and strive for the best so to fail or not reach my goals would be such a let down.

2. Who inspires you? I am inspired by my Mom most of all. She as taught me how to be a woman and a wife to my husband. I learned how to cook, clean and work hard from her. As for my style inspiration I have always love Rachel Zoe and Olivia Palermo.

3. Most embarrassing fashion moment/worst outfit of all time? This actually happened recently! I was going to a baseball game with my husband and his dad. I decided to wear this new white top I bought. I had to wear the stick on bra because of the back of it. I got ready in a hurry and on my way to the game I realize that you can completely see through my shirt. You can see the lines of the pasted bra, the color, my skin. EVERYTHING. I made my husband stop at the closest shopping center before we got to the game so that I could buy a different shirt. So embarrassing.

4. Favorite item of clothing? I love a good pair of jeans. I wear jean quite often. They are such a staple item for most outfits. You can dress them up or down. I love my American Eagle jeans the best. They fit me in all the right areas!

5. Why do you blog? I absolutely love fashion. I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember. I blog as an outlet to give other inspiration. I also love sharing and giving tips and advice!

6. Name 3 places you hope to go one day and why? I have not visit California and I really want to because of the atmosphere and the grip it has on the fashion industry. I would say that is number one. I have done a lot of traveling in the US and some outside but I have not visit Hawaii. I would love to visit for a tropical vacation! I would love to go to Ireland. I have family from Ireland and It would be amazing to see where they came from.

7. Favorite place to shop? Right now my favorite place to shop is Marshall’s. I find so many great deals there.

8. Last item you purchased? The last item I purchased is featured in the above images. My red Fossil bag and watch!

9. What four words BEST describe you? I am creative, outgoing, hard-worker, & caring.

10. Dream Job? My dream job is to be a stylist. I’m not good at making clothes, I can reinvent items I already have, but styling is something that intrigues me. I love pairing items and helping others look fashionable.
