Fall

The Coziest Cardigan

Outfit Details: Chicwish cardigan c/o, Forever 21 pants (similar), Topshop tank, ASOS boots (similar), Gorjana necklace c/o

I shared this cozy cardigan several weeks ago in a fall haul story I did on Instagram, now here we are and I still can’t stop wearing it! I’m telling you, honestly, this cardigan is the coziest! During my trip to Mt. Dora, the temperatures dropped which meant I needed a thicker outer layer. This cardigan kept me warm while sitting out on the lawn listening to Christmas music and watching the tree light up! I find myself pulling it out to wear at home, for errands, and Christmas activities-that won’t stop anytime soon! If you love this cardigan as much as do, then you will also love this super cozy sweater in a similar knitted pattern!

Rainy Day In Hatley

Outfit Details: Hatley top c/o, Hatley jacket c/o, Express jeans, Hunter boots, Old Navy scarf

I was introduced to the cutest shop not too long ago. Hatley has clothing items for women and children-I mean look at all of these cute little leggings! They create everyday apparel that takes an approach to creating their items in an “ecologically responsible” type of way. I’m now an aunt to a little baby girl and I’m obsessed with find adorable yet, comfortable clothing for her, and the same goes for me too! Today, I’m styling a look that I wore on Thanksgiving-it was a little bit of a dreary day so I layered on this raincoat and it’s a piece I’ll never let go of! I wore this striped sweater which my entire family now wants-it’s so comfy and I love the pop of pink! I definitely have this shearling jacket on my Christmas wishlist!

Weekend Recap 11.27.17

Weekend Recap:

What a weekend it was indeed. Joy is being restored, and my heart is starting to mend in this season of giving. I always find myself feeling joy and peace when I give to others. I know Thanksgiving wasn’t technically on the “weekend”, but I’m going to include it and I’ll make it a quick recap! It felt so good to concentrate on giving to my family this past weekend-baking my first pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping for gifts, celebrating my Grandma’s 90th birthday, then re-celebrating my mom’s birthday with her gift of an over night stay in Mt. Dora, and ringing in the Christmas season. After the festivities of Thanksgiving, and Black Friday shopping, some of our family took off on a small adventure to a little town called Mt. Dora. Each year this town lights up the city with their annual event to bring over 2 million lights on around the city. We had such a blast singing Christmas songs, exploring the town, and counting down to the lighting. Then, Santa led us down the road to a 40 foot Christmas tree on display. If you are interested in this event I’ll link it here.

To be honest, it was so nice to forget about the worries, anxiety, stresses and concentrate on other things, fun things! Though the Christmas season has always held a bit of heartache, I’m going to concentrate on finding joy in giving and enjoy this wonderful time of year! If you’re dealing with worries, and stresses, find ways to give to others this season, there are a lot of free options too, like volunteering at a local ministry or shelter! I’ve always found myself having a blast when I find a local place that need some volunteers.

Casual Thanksgiving

Outfit Details: Shein cardi c/o, J.Crew top, H&M denim, Old Navy boots

My family has a big Thanksgiving get-together each year. My mom does all the cooking, and I typically bring mac & cheese with a dessert! We typically get a little dressed up for the occasion, but this year we are slowing it down and having a casual, small, Thanksgiving. Our family dynamics have changed a bit with my Grandpa’s recent passing. We are figuring out how to incorporate new traditions. Today’s look is my casual Thanksgiving day outfit. Perfect for family time, and then a big night of shopping for Black Friday!  Hope hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m so thankful for all of you, my friends, for supporting me throughout the journey of A  Daydream Love!
