Dress

Flowers And Stripes

Outfit Details: Shein dress c/o, Mango slides (similar, and I love these), Charming Charlie bag (super cute option)

I didn’t think I was going to love this dress as much as I did when I wore it out the other day! I knew I would like the style (I’ve worn a similar style dress here), but I wasn’t confident enough in myself to pull off flowers and stripes. I was wrong, I absolutely adored this dress, and it was so fun to wear around town! I came to really love the mixture of flowers and stripes together. I kept everything else very simple as to not cause so much of a distraction. When it comes to styling mixed prints, it’s always best to choose neutral shoes and accessories, or the look can be “overdone”. This dress is so flattering, feminine and perfect for summer. It was 100 degrees out when we took this so hairstyles that are out of the way are my go to as of lately!

Eyelet Cotton Dress

Outfit Details: H&M dress c/o, Steven sandals, J.Mclaughlin bag

I’m just going to confess right now that I really feel like I didn’t do this dress the justice it deserves. I love the flattering fit, the eyelet details, flirty open back, and ruffle detailing. It had been raining most of this past weekend, and while I thought it would clear up, we ended up having a tropical storm come through. So, in the midst of this crazy weather I wore this dress and kind of felt like a wet dog. I just REALLY wanted to share the dress with you in these few shots while this dress is still in stock! I plan on wearing it again and I’m praying that the next time a tropical storm doesn’t decide to make it’s way into town!

We dodged the downpours by visiting local shops and stopping for lunch at a cuban stop! While we felt like wet dogs and didn’t wear the proper clothing, we had fun! I love exploring and finding new places to visit in our area.

Yellow Eyelet Dress

Outfit Details: Chicwish dress c/o, ASOS sandals, Doen bag

OK, how cute is this dress? The details were just way too adorable and it’s summer perfection! Plus, it’s the perfect shade of yellow! I love that it’s short and flirty, but it also comes in a midi length which is just so beautiful! I thought about styling this dress with a classic pair of white tennis shoes-which I have plans to coming up for another summer outing! Instead, I styled it with sandals and a basket bag for a perfect summer day out and about.

Pink Is A Neutral

Outfit Details: Chicwish dress c/o, Brixton hat, ASOS wedges, Similar earrings

I realize that in technical terms pink is not considered a neutral-but in my book it basically is and it could be for you too. I find myself wearing a soft shade of pink and being able to style it in a variety of ways-I’ve also noticed that a lot of colors go great with it-black, blue, white, leopard (and other various prints), even red sometimes!

I put this dress on and I immediately went and grabbed Jacob to take me out to give me an excuse to wear it because I love it so much! We ended up going out to lunch and then running a bunch errands. I paired this dress with a comfy pair of wedges, and of course added the little detail by way of tassel earrings. I love wearing this dress with or without a hat, so I’m sharing it both ways. I’m so obsessed with this hat that I want to pair it with everything-it was one of my favorite pieces that I bought this summer.
